Following on from a heated debate between a previously expelled philosophy student and some unnamed random philosopher, a fight erupted, which culminated in several injured persons – two of whom required medical attention (bruises, scratches, etc). Gasp. Is violence not ‘the other’ of philosophy? Saying that, an argument is hardly worth having if neither party spills a bit of blood. . . .
