So there I was browsing YouTube when I came across this:
Like, OMG Dogtanian was just the best. Yes, yes, I’m showing my age here. Anyway, here’s the more familiar version, followed by the original in Spanish.
Want more? Japanese? No that’s . . . . erm, well shit. You’ll have to make do with German and French:
Only a devilish mind could take a classic piece of nineteenth century French literature (The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas if you haven’t worked it out), convert the characters into dogs and other animals, then make the whole thing into a cartoon. Regardless, it all turned out better than the book, and how often does that happen, eh? Robert Ludlum’s Bourne trilogy, I hear you say. True, true.
Of course, the whole thing’s probably a bit too violent for today’s health and safety conscious, politically correct parents. Sword fighting, animal cruelty, etc. And that’s not to mention the love interest, Milady the pussycat. Such innuendo was lost on me as a child . . . .
