It’s all about nine month old baby Ali in Dagestan, you see. As a newborn, doctors diagnosed him as suffering from ischemic heart disease and infantile cerebral paralysis, advising his mother that he’d only have a few days to live. But then the signs started appearing – masha’Allah – and both conditions cleared up. ‘At first a haematoma appeared on his chin,’ reports his mother, Madina Yakubova. ‘When the bruises faded , the word “Allah” materialised.’
More and more Arabic (qur’anic according to many accounts) script emerged, eventually forming complete text, which includes the phrase “Allah is the creator of all entities” on one of his legs. The written miracle shows itself more readily on Mondays and Fridays, and is accompanied by a forty degree body temperature and excessive crying. The latter, although a common characteristic of babies, was even heard by doctors whilst Ali was still in his mother’s womb.
Eh?
