An army of 1,250 Hitler stroke Nazi gnomes has invaded the German town of Straubing. Yes, you did read that correctly. The exhibition by artist Otmar Hörl , who recently ended up in a spot of bother with Bavarian authorities after some politically correct idiot took offence to the same, albeit golden in colour, gnomes, attempts to render them as ‘symptoms of a political disease’.
Sculpted (moulded, perhaps a better word) from black plastic, the Sieg Heiling little fellows will be on display in the town’s Ludwigsplatz Square between the 15th and 19th of this month. A must see, I’d say . . .
