It doesn’t take a Mufti or a member of the intelligentsia to realise that Islam and Marxism aren’t exactly on the same wavelength, but when it comes to the distribution of power and money they’re more in tune than many think. Contrary to their atheistic beliefs many of the Bolshevik elders, including Lenin, held Islam in high regard and were quite welcoming towards Muslims entering their fold. Stalin put an end to that, though, when he started repressing religion – and pretty much everything else. Ho-hum.

They’ll ally themselves with anyone who’s their enemy’s enemy – the enemy being eventually whittled down to anyone who refuses to follow their interpretation of Islam. ‘Lacquered half-apes who ought to be whipped,’ was how Hitler once described Arabs, but they still formed a tight allegiance with him, and he’s still revered in less moderate parts of the ummah, owing to a perceived common goal. We should start planting forests of gharqad trees before it’s too late!
