A Chinese man has had one of his penises surgically chopped off to please his girlfriend. 23 year old Ang Qiang from the southern city of Guangzhou, suffered from a very rare medical predicament known as diphallia or penile duplication, which resulted in him being born with two sets of genitals. The condition, which thankfully only affects about one in every 5.5 million men, often results in sterility and the rather undesirable ability to pass urine through both tallywhackers.
Despite Mr Qiang’s girlfriend initial surprise and amazement at his problem, she later decided that it was ‘creepy’, and threatened to leave him unless he had one of the pieces removed. Subsequently, he underwent a very painful, intricate and lengthy operation to oblige.
Now obviously you can’t help feeling for the poor chap and all that, but what does he plan to do with the supplementary member now it’s been disconnected? Preserve it in a jam jar? Frame it and hang it on the bedroom wall? eBay it?
